On the 16th December five members from Evenwood road runners took part in the great langdale Christmas pudding 10k road race first home for the club over the challenging course was ladies captain Donna Douthwaite who also gained a personal best time in sub zero conditions for 46mins and 31seconds taking 158 place, Next to follow was Neil Douthwaite who completed the course in 163rd position in a time of 46.39. Glynn Frith returned home in 51.56 for 259th position. The youngest member of the club is starting to make progress to better her time Sarah Douthwaite gained a new personal best at this distance for 54 mins and 16 sec for 293rd position. Newest member Sarah dart chose this course for her first 10k but despite the course being undulating she completed the race in a time of 1:02:37 for 364th position, well done to our ladies section.
