Darlington 10k

Evenwood Road Runners had fourteen members compete in the 21st Anniversary Darlington 10k road race on Sunday 10th August. Gary Atkinson brought the club home in 36:08 taking 23rd position. Neil Douthwaite took 99th position to finish in 40:41. Kimberley Crowther returned home in 42:03 for 142nd pos. Darren Fairclough took it steady having already completed the fun run with his daughter Chloe, he finished in 43:45 for 202nd place. New member to the club David Smalllwood completed the course in a time of 44:28 in 224th place. Next to return was David Wilson in 46:48 for 313th pos. Donna Douthwaite in 48:07 in 364th position. Alan Morton crossed the finish line to take 469th position in a time of 50:28. Glynn Frith 475th place in 50:34. Still improving Sarah Douthwaite who is starting to show good signs of progress as she reaches for better timings, gained a new personal best at this distance for 50:54 and 490th position. Gemma Dart recorded a time of 56:34 taking 689th place. Dawn Ord and Nicola Finch ran the course together with Nicola also gaining a new personal best as they both recorded the same time of 58:10 in 743rd and 744th positions. Sarah Dart recorded a time 1:06:08 taking 890th place
